Using AI we improve the data streaming from the sensors to the Digital Twin (or the WMS), so that it can be an effective tool for network management even in the absence of a dense network of sensors. This can be especially beneficial in the case of sewer networks, where installing and then keeping sensors operational can be challenging and expensive.
Moreover, the model can be improved incrementally, adding sensors and performing field missions, so that there is no “step change” but a smooth path towards high accuracy.
